Top 10 Things We Miss About Football

Today's show is the ten things we about football the most. This episode originally aired in 2011.
Foles brady super bowl 52
Not a bad episode among the Top-10 series. I just had to fast forward thru the Fog Bowl in order to avoid becoming violently ill from seeing Angelo Cataldi
As a Cowboy fan I actually enjoyed this game although we lost. This showed to me how close these teams were and how next level they were to the rest of the NFL. We all knew whoever won these matchups would be the champion. #ITWAS PASS INTERFERENCE 😂😂😂😂😂
Jim Kelly is a incredible man. Criminally underrated. Played catch with him as a kid he was larger than life and really nice. I'll never forget that day
Learn to read the room...why Richard Simmons NFL films
The Raiders trade for Carson Palmer is an honorable mention
people who think you have to win a superbowl to be great don't know anything about football. No quarterback in history won without a great supporting cast
No disrespect to Dennis Erickson but its wild to think he won the most National Championships at Miami at Head Coach. Jimmy and Howard only had one apiece.
I predict that the Redskins will win 27-17.
# 20 - Brian Dawkins 💚
I’ll never forget watching Gilbert Brown play, he was an absolute unit. Imagine being a running back going up the middle, and you’ve got to try and get past The Gravedigger. No thank you
One fact about the Ice Bowl: Back then, the whistles for the officiating crew were made out of metal. Early in that game, the ref blew his whistle to signal the end of the play. When he went to take the whistle out of his mouth, however, it was so cold that it froze to his lips. He had to tear it out of his mouth, which caused his lip to bleed, and the blood froze. After that, they ended up using vocal signals to call an end to the plays
I like how the thumbnails have zero relation to the topic.
Besides the obvious statistical reasons to put Tom Flores on this list He also did something the defined the 80s He appeared in a football rap video
Still remember that fumble. I was 10
"An organization that hadn't won in 40 years". Mora had a 93-74 record with the Saints. If Mora would have had Brees it would have been a lot better record. See how many Sean Payton wins with Hebert, Walsh and Wade Wilson.
OJ game
Terry Metcalf was the key to the Coryell.offense of Cards. Super elusive..set combined yds for running, catching, returning in 14 game season which lasted.over a decade when broken in 16 game.season. Dorsett...come.on.
Randall Cunningham the ultimate weapon baby
Dick The King Butkus...
Missing from this list...the 1981-82 Baltimore Colts. You start with 2-14 in 1981, giving up 533 points, and follow it up with 0-8-1.
6:53 push the button, push the button lol
The majority of all 10 players selected as the altime hardest hitter should all be disqualified for the majority of hit being illegal. The rules have never been call the same from game to game in the entire history of the NFL. Leading to the cause being the refs try to grade hits when it should never have been left for them to decide. You fucked it all up and today it's not played the same intensity without worrying about flags and ejections.
Updated: Justin Fields
I don’t know the timestamp la of touchdowns.
Too bad Green Bay became awful after Bart Starr retired. Bart Starr is extremely underrated as a qb, especially for those days.
Jim morra is a national treasure
Eagles Kelly Green baby
I almost lost my life going to foot locker in the crazy winter storm to get some Terrel owens jersey in Philly they were on clearance twenty bucks for the limited ones with stitched numbers and name. We loved to in Philadelphia
Go Huskies!
Seriously, Nothing about 90’s Packers? •Sterling Sharpe, Antonio Freeman, Andre Rison, Don Beebe, Bubba Franks•
HOPE ALL THE COWBOY FANS SEE A YOUNG MIKE ZIMMER COACHING ON THE BENCH!!!
Ronnie Lott was a fucking savage. I love watching his highlights.
Well at least Matt Stafford finally won a Super Bowl ring for the Detroit-…oh wait
No jay cutler?
Thank God for cocaine otherwise LT might not be rated as high.
I'm a browns fan for over three decades and Ray Lewis is my favorite all time def player. That's greatness!
At least half of all the nfl players today are divas 💀💀
A lot of those Cowboys credit Herb Adderly with putting them over the hump with his "Get it done" attitude. I love Nitschke and I am a life long Packer fan. And I'd take Dick Butkus over Nitschke. Nitschke was indeed a hell of a player. Butkus was better. I got a pitch for Bart Starr. Starr was a better QB than Unitas. Keith Dunnavant, backed up by stats from Kerry Byrne, makes a VERY strong case for Starr. Oh, Starr played with great talent and coaching. So did Unitas. In 1962 the Packes had what was probably the best rushing team in NLF history. By 1966 they were last in the league in rushing. Starr wins his only MVP and leads the league with a completion percentage of 62.2 and a 105 passer rating Darren, you are showing your ignorance with the comment about Don Hutson. Hutson was the Babe Ruth of football. A guy whose production matched that of other teams. 99 TDs, broken after 44 years.... think of the changes that occurred between the careers of Hutson and Largent.
I’m sorry but if you have the only guy who pancaked akoye at number 9 it’s a biased nonsense top ten list.
I don't know, but when your name becomes a universally understood synonym for "we got fucked, chewed up and spit out.".... Yeah.... I think you deserve number 1.
The 2016-2017 browns or any team hue Jackson coached
Can we all admit that Mark Madden is a quintessential Ass#ole. I couldn’t stand him in WCW. He's such a smuck. No insight, literally sh#ts on e everything, and openly admitted on one of these episodes that he prefers hockey over football. Why do they continue to interview him for these.
I want to know what music used on Dan Fouts segment, around 31:00?
The NFL endorsed a murderer. Yet they take a shit on a Christian
watched this over and over and over when it dropped really made me fall in love with the game and i got a don hutson card bc of this he backthen as a kid and i still got it hes the goat of football
Larry brown had 14 ints 2 fumble recoveries 317 tackles won three super bowls and was Super Bowl mvp in only 8 seasons. Doesn’t sound like a one hit wonder to me he also broke up a lot of passes
Mud Bowl 07 crazy game
There were clearly great and greatest hitters in Footboal through the years and then there is one who started a category all of his own No. 51 The Butkus set standards that are only mimicked today.
The Vick Disrespect is disgraceful
